ARKANSAS PHOTO JOURNAL #1

Howdy y'all! I've been in Searcy, Arkansas for two weeks breathing in the fresh air while stargazing at a light pollution-free night sky! I've never had a remarkable photography blog during past visits, so I'm excited to show the world what Arkansas is y'all about.

Leaving Little Rock Airport. Time to experience the Natural State and the Land of Opportunity.

I have gone to Walmart almost everyday since I arrived. It's really the only establishment in this small-butt town. Everyone in this community either wears Arkansas Razorbacks shirts/sweaters or Mossy Oak camouflage. When it's really crowed, it looks like a bunch of red razorbacks are running around in a forest. :D!!

I was able to rent season 3 and 4 of Battlestar Galactica on D.V.D. format here at Hastings. Big Lots needs to update their store logo!

I was excited to find out where the CATO Institute is located:

Lighters sell out at a real fast SPEED here. I wonder why......

We can all agree Arkansas is a very religious state. Couldn't even 'take a leak' without thinking about Jesus.

My cousin makes knives and I had the opportunity of watching the process. I asked him if he could make me a "dragon knife" and he said he didn't have the equipment. :(

Here he is sharpening the blade. I could see this digital photograph making it into an issue of Blade Magazine.

I hope he's texting a girl something along the lines of:  "Hey girl. Whatchu up to? I'm just sharpening a knife. Getting the blade real nice. Want to hang later ;)?"

This might as well be hung up in a museum of art in a section for photographs that conjure up strong emotions.

Country Corner offers 69cent soda refills. Watch out 711, you might have some competition soon!!!

Frank Myers is the T-Rex of Used Cars, which sounds really cool, but I can't quite figure out if that's a good or a bad thing.

Cruising around in my mom's car. Is 'cruising' legal here? Heh.

These are some houses in the area. I should have taken more photos of different houses, but I only took 10 photographs or so of these two houses. This is the best shot I captured probably. It's always such a tough decision picking between such wicked photos :'(

This is me in Arkansas sitting next to a dog:

I'm glad you could stop by. Hope y'all learned a thinger two 'bout this here state! I have more Arkansas photos to come in PART 2 of this exciting series. I need to lay down.

LADIES' CHOICE DVD MOVIE NIGHT

Koneechiwahh? That's Japanese for "what's up?" Before I start posting the pictures I've been taking here in Arkansas, I thought I'd post about the exciting event everyone on Facebook was talking about: Ladies' Choice DVD Movie Night! A wild night where for once the ladies had a chance to pick which motion picture we would view. And of course they picked Hitch. Check out the photographs from the event below this text.

In the spirit of Ladies' Choice DVD Movie Night, Arslane wore a feminine blue future wig:

We knew picking up a peperoni Hot 'n' Ready pizza would entice the ladies to join us EVEN MORE!!

Lee loves a high quality 'za!

David grabs two slices...

Then poses next to our hero's DVD menu screen. We watched this menu screen for a pretty long time. It's really good.

Is this a lady? You decide!

Hanging out with so many ladies sure can be exhausting :D

A lot of girls showed up and one even let me photograph her. She told me to take this photo of her cleavage because her boobs 'looked really good'. These are Lola's boobs:

Ladies' Choice DVD Movie Night is always open reeeeaaalllll late.

Back massages are a big part of LCDVDMN tradition:

I think somebody is ticklish!!! :D :D :D

I'm sorry if you missed this event, but rest assured many more will come, due to requests by the departing ladies.

MY NEW SPACE AGE PARTY

Hi hi hi hi hi hi hi.Welcome back, JACK!!! Haha :D Okay, but for real, welcome back, everyone. Once a year, something real magical happens- my birthday. Plus something else that's pretty magical happens, the PaRtY!!!!(A few days before or after it.) The theme this year was aliens or space or confetti cake or drinking too much until I cry. I've been thinking about writing a song about crying at a birthday party. Check out the pictures!!

Lola Blanc put an Asian guy design on my confetti cake.

Lee cruised in holding some ancient alien party artifact. A partifact if you will, a balloon even, heavens to betsy, exit... stage left.

I found this framed portrait of an alien at Spring Break inside a Ross store:

Christina Curry, Bebe Zeva, and Abe are partaking in some powdered donuts.

"It's fantastic to finally meet the name behind the man." - Noël   (See what I did there??)

Me trying to capture the beauty that glows in creative works:

Feeding my dog: Preston::

You're looking pretty good, Noelle, but I'm a little bit more interested in that girl who's photographing the zebra head wearing a Ninja Turtle mask. Do you think she's instagramming it? Will she post it on Twitter or just save it to show her friends and room mates?

Dave showing some love for the Wild Wild West by throwing up a hand gesture in the form of a 'W'.

Sam is on the right and some other dude is on the left:

Don't act TOO excited to be here, Emily. Jeees la weeez!!!

Never give a Mogwai Tecate after midnight or he transforms into a Gremlin. There's a movie about that happening.

"You can just look into someone's eyes these days and know if they have a good Twitter." Thanks!! (Positive she was talking about my twitter.)

A stoned dog:

Alien streamers are NOT blankets! But to each her own, heh.

George is looking suave and Phoenix is looking fly:

Here's a digital photo of 5 really hot girls:

Barbequete :D

Preston drinking what I can only guess is some banana juice.

One thing Preston and I share in common is that our favorite movie is Austin Powers: Goldmember.

The dynamic angle I put on this photo helps you imagine the amount of fun these Tecate drinkers are experiencing.

Jessica and I had an improv class together back in the day and we have been inseparable since!!

Two-tie Merabet

"That's cool. I want that Toyota Camry parked outside as well, Steve."

This is a photograph of me at my birthday party:

I want to thank all of my friends who could make it to this jammin' party. Some of you know I'm in Arkansas at the moment. I'm taking LOADS of photographs, so be ready for those!!!
